Rebecca D. Lynch
Senior Vice President and President, Virtua Medical Group
Rebecca D. Lynch is a senior vice president for Virtua Health and president of the Virtua Medical Group (VMG). She oversees the management and finance functions of VMG, a network of physicians exclusively affiliated with Virtua. More than 50 medical and surgical physician practices are located throughout the region, from primary care to complex medical and surgical specialties. She also serves as Virtua’s executive liaison to CVS and Fresenius.
Previously, Lynch served in numerous leadership positions including executive director for Virtua's health services network, business development and acquisitions, and occupational health and urgent care. In 2014, she joined the VMG leadership team as vice president of operations as Virtua merged its urgent care centers, ambulatory nutrition, diabetes education, and Virtua Occupational Health programs under the VMG division. She helped these programs, along with the Women’s medical specialty programs, prosper and forged strong alliances with many other Virtua departments, including facilities, access center, VirtuaCare ACO and marketing.
Prior to joining Virtua, Lynch held positions in corporate health services at Morristown Memorial Hospital, part of the Atlantic Health System. Her clinical experience includes positions in emergency medicine, critical care, trauma, orthopedics and surgical intensive care.
Lynch earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She is a member of nursing honorary society Sigma Theta Tau.
