Orthopedic Care to Get You Back in the Game
Virtua Willingboro’s accomplished orthopedic surgeons and experienced rehabilitation-medicine staff offer personalized care and a wide range of interventions, from conservative care to complex joint repair and replacement.
Patients stay in private rooms on a dedicated orthopedic floor. Most patients are discharged directly home after surgery.

- A full range of total and partial joint replacement procedures, including for the hip, knee and shoulder

Virtua Willingboro’s behavioral health providers use a range of behavioral health therapies to stabilize and treat patients. The team focuses on safeguarding patients’ medical status in a hospital environment and preparing them for continued outpatient care.
The hospital has four units to meet the needs of the community:
- Crisis: The hospital is the designated emergency screening and crisis intervention program (SCIP) for Burlington County.
- Short-Term Care: For patients who pose a risk to themselves or others, this involuntary-admission unit provides emergency stabilization, individual assessments and short-term inpatient stays.
- Adult: This voluntary unit is for patients who need admission for acute or chronic psychiatric disorders that may be accompanied by or include substance use disorder, suicide risk, hallucination, severe anxiety or mood disorders.
- Senior: This program is for patients age 55 and older who have a psychiatric diagnosis (that may include dementia) but also need medical care.
