Scheduled Telehealth Appointments
If you've scheduled a telemedicine visit with your health care clinician, you will utilize your MyChart account for your telemedicine visit. For group visits you may be asked to use Microsoft teams. Your clinician will inform you of this in advance of your telehealth visit.
Please follow the appropriate set of instructions below for your visit. If you're unsure how to proceed, contact the Patient Support Line, 856-246-4113.
Complete These Steps Before Your Appointment Day
Please review the information below and select the appropriate instructions to prepare for your telemedicine visit. If you're unsure whether you need to use MyChart or Teams, or if you experience any technical difficulties, please contact our Patient Support Team at 856-246-4113. Help is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
When Your Appointment is Scheduled:
Get Set Up in MyChart. Watch our quick tutorial video to see how easy it is to sign up.
- If you’ve never logged into MyChart before, you will receive an activation link when you schedule your appointment. Use that link to create your MyChart account.
- You can also sign yourself up for MyChart by visiting the MyChart page.
- If you already have a MyChart account, sign in now to confirm your appointment is there.
Download MyChart App for your telehealth visit. The links below include tip sheets for your preferred device. (Mobile devices preferred for best experience.)

- PC or Laptop Computer (There is no need to download an app if you’re using a PC or Laptop)
Up to Six Days Before Your Telehealth Appointment:
eCheck-In: MyChart allows you to complete tasks for your appointment in advance. All patients should utilize eCheck-In via MyChart up to 6 days prior to a visit to reduce wait times. eCheck-In also allows you to submit your co-pay in advance.
Sign into MyChart to complete the eCheck-in process.

Once you complete eCheck-in, you can sign out of MyChart until the day of your appointment.
The Day of Your Telehealth Appointment:
Sign into MyChart.
- Remember to log in 15 minutes prior to your appointment, and have your insurance card, photo ID, and any necessary paperwork with you.
Select “Begin Video Visit.”
- This will launch the Epic Video window on your device. You may do this up to 15 minutes prior to your telehealth appointment.
- You will be redirected to the “Telehealth Lounge”, where you can explore resources while waiting for your clinician to join. Please do not leave this screen until after you have met with your clinician. If you do, you may not be able to get back in.
Visit with Your Clinician.
- Your clinician will begin the meeting through Epic Video window.
- Enable your Camera and Microphone permissions during the Hardware Test.

Download Microsoft Teams for your telehealth visit. The links below include tip sheets for your preferred device. (Teams works best on a mobile device)
Download the Microsoft Teams app to your device.
- On your Apple device (See page 1)

- On your computer or laptop – there is no need to download an app if you’re using a computer or laptop, but this tipsheet will provide instructions on how you will be notified of your visit
Before Your Telehealth Appointment
Complete and Return All Paperwork.
- Your clinician will email you all necessary paperwork prior to your appointment.
- Please be sure to complete this paperwork and send it back to the office either through email or the U.S. Postal Service.
- The email from your clinician will contain a link to your Teams appointment. Keep this link handy.
The Day of Your Telehealth Appointment
Begin Your Telehealth Appointment
- Click on the link provided to you in your appointment email.
- This will launch the Teams app on your device. You may do this up to 15 minutes prior to your telehealth appointment
- You will be placed in the “waiting room.” Please do not leave this screen until after you have met with your clinician. If you do, you may not be able to get back in.
Visit with Your Clinician
- Your clinician will begin the meeting through Microsoft Teams.
- Enable any permission requests for the app that may pop up on your screen.
- Choose “Join Video” and “Join Audio.”
