Pediatric Behavioral Health (CASTLE) - Berlin
The Children Achieving Success through Therapeutic Life Experiences (CASTLE) program offers comprehensive mental health services geared to help children who have emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders.
CASTLE's Berlin campus offers two levels of care.
- Partial hospitalization (full day), ages 5 to 12
- Outpatient, ages 3 to 18

Monday to Friday
9 am to 3 pm
Outpatient Program
Monday to Friday
8 am to 6 pm
Virtua CASTLE treats children diagnosed with conditions including, but not limited to:
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Anxiety disorders
- Mood disorders, including depression, bipolar, and dysthymia
- Oppositional and defiant disorders
- Aggressive or abusive behaviors
- Emotional problems, including those resulting from abuse, divorce, abandonment, or other life stressors
- Suicidal thoughts or self-abusive behaviors
CASTLE offers the following services to create clinically based treatment goals, which are met with a personalized combination of the following approaches:
- Individual psychotherapy
- Family therapy/education
- Group therapy
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Medication therapy
- Behavior modification system
- Academic programs (excluding outpatient and after-school programs)
