With Care After COVID, our specialists are devoted to helping you reclaim the life you had before COVID-19. That means comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based treatment methods, and access to our entire health system.

By connecting with our team, you can expect:

• Care After COVID Navigator: From the start, a Virtua navigator will guide you through the entire process. During your initial call, you'll answer some questions about your condition, allowing our team to fully understand your symptoms, story, and history.
• Telehealth Consultation: Every Care After COVID journey begins with a telehealth appointment. During this hour-long consultation, our dedicated physicians will develop the best treatment plan for your symptoms.
• Specialty Care: If needed, we can provide referrals to specialists in primary care, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT). We can also schedule appointments with physical therapists, nutritionists, or with social workers to support your emotional well-being.
• Routine Check-Ins: Throughout your care, we'll establish routine check-ins to evaluate your progress. Plus, your dedicated physician will regularly communicate with your specialists to ensure a streamlined approach to your care.

Long-COVID Tests and Treatment

When it comes to long-haul COVID, there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Everyone's experience is different. And while we continue to learn more and more about this condition each day, here's how we might approach treatment:

• Behavioral Health. Now more than ever, your mental health has never been more important. Through this program, our licensed therapists and social workers will support and care for your emotional well-being.
• Cardiology. If you've been dealing with persistent chest pain, we'll likely refer you to a cardiologist. First steps could include laboratory studies, imaging studies, and an electrocardiogram to determine your treatment.
• Neurology. Long-haul COVID has been associated with confusion, headaches, and a sense of "brain fog." When it comes to these cognitive challenges, a neurologist might recommend laboratory studies, lifestyle changes or other helpful therapies.
• Pulmonology. For persistent coughing, we may recommend using a device to help you breathe more fully, connect you with a pulmonologist, explore pulmonary rehab, or prescribe effective medication.
