Six Virtua-Affiliated ASCs Earn Spots on 2025 U.S. News & World Report List

March 31, 2025 - Second-Annual Ratings Recognize High-Performing Care Locations

March 31, 2025

U.S. News & World Report recently released its second annual list of “Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) 2025.” These outpatient health care facilities specialize in providing same-day streamlined surgical and diagnostic procedures, focusing on efficiency and patient comfort while reducing costs to patients. Virtua Health proudly congratulates the staff of six Virtua joint-venture ASCs rated as high-performing.

U.S. News & World Report evaluated nearly 5,000 ASCs for treatment in four specialty areas: Colonoscopy and Endoscopy, Orthopedics and Spine, Ophthalmology, and Urology. The national news outlet used three years of Medicare data to evaluate the surgical centers, applying criteria that included how successfully they avoided complications, ER visits, unplanned hospitalizations, and other undesirable outcomes.

“ASCs play an integral role in our health care system,” explained Barry Graf, senior vice president of partnerships and business development at Virtua Health. “Receiving high-performing ratings on the U.S. News & World Report list is well-deserved recognition of our extremely talented ASC health care teams who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for all of our patients.”

The six Virtua-affiliated ASCs listed below received a high-performing ranking.

Last fall, 18 of Virtua’s joint-venture ASCs were also listed among Newsweek’s list of the best ASCs in the nation for 2025. Overall, Virtua is affiliated with 42 ambulatory surgery centers.
